Welcome to the Boy Scouts, Troop 33

Troop 33, located in Carson Valley and sponsored out of Carson City, NV, is the oldest Boy Scout Troop in the area.  Established in 1939, Troop 33 has been providing boys and young men the ultimate Scouting experience; teaching life skills such as learning to be responsible, working with others, and becoming great leaders. We celebrated our 80th Birthday Party on July 27, 2019 at Heritage Park. See below picture.

Scout meetings are every Thursday evening, currently at the United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Ln, Gardnerville, starting at 7:00pm.

Troop 33 is very active in fundraising in which all monies earned go directly into each participating Scout’s account, depending on the Scout's level of effort during that event.  These monies provides the opportunity for each Scout to participate in campout activities, earn merit badges, work on rank advancements, purchase camping gear, etc.; anything that is Scout related. Fundraisers include BSA Camp Cards, "Send a Scout to Camp" Car and Truck Show, Carson Valley Days Banners and BSA Popcorn.

If you would like more information about our Troop, please contact Mr. Joe Sherych (Scoutmaster) at 702-335-5959 or click on "contact us" tab, and someone will contact you.
